Sixth Day of Loneliness

The sun rises and sets. The world keeps on turning. But here I feel stuck. Still feel alone and gloomy. They’re right, you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone. Other short messages came from overseas.

Bgn jam 6.30 trus mandi salat cari makan sambil ujan2 n blk lg. Mau oleh2 apa yang” (17/05/06, 22.28)

”Walah ak br bgn euy langsng dapet gol lho barca. Lehman dikart merah knp yang” (18/05/06, 03.39)

”Lehman dkartu merah wakt msh 0-0 ya yang. Dah kelar skrg yang. Nontn cm 10menit euy. Ah mau nontn ulangan aj ah hehe” (18/05/06, 03.45)

”Iya yang br aj kelar exam. skrg makan spagheti ama durian bangkok... kangn bgt. skrg kayakny mau tour lg nih hehe” (19/05/06, 11.36)

(19/05/06, 14.30)

”Cm ke grand palace ama museum pningglan raja. ampe jam5 sore trus dhotel aj...” (19/05/06, 22.54)

There he goes. With cheerful short messages, telling stories about Bangkok. Shrimps, crabs, squids, spaghetti, durian, and art? They’re my favorites! Then I feel like, ”Wish I could fly there with you...” It hurts, you know. Well, he’ll fly home tomorrow and I’m gonna meet him at Cengkareng. Please come back home safely, my dear...
